BaseCamp preset

pack

The BaseCamp is designed to serve as a first step in your editing process. It includes my most versatile presets. Color-curves and grain are kept balanced and neutral.

I like to work with this set the most in commercial situations when I want a look that is not “over the top” but still enhances colors and skin tones in a pleasing way + takes the digital edge off.

001 Base Superior

001

This filter is my 001 because it’s my most used filter. I like the tones created through this filter the most, especially in average light situations.

Skin tones are warm, edges are soft creating an overall mellow feeling to the image.

002 Base Neutral

002
My favorite starting point for a balanced look. Colors are neutral, black is pulled - resulting in a sharp look that still fights the digital edge.

003 Base Rouge

003
The filter is my favorite for sunrise and sunset scenarios. As the name suggests it enhances the red color spectrum and evokes dramatic feels.

004 Base Sierra

004
I love this look in blue-hour or very harsh 3pm kind of light. It creates a very polished Sierra-blue with pulled blacks.

005 Base Heat

005
Brings a touch of magenta to your images which works very well with tanned skin. The overall look and feel of the image are polished and clean.

006 Base Blue

006
Overall a neutral look that crushes the dark side of the image a little, lending it more character.

I tend to use it most for images that due to natural light I already like a lot, just wanting to enhance it a bit.

007 Base Bw_Pull

007
My favorite Black & White look with rather heavy pulled blacks and that „just right grain“.

I wild compare it most with HP5+ Ilford pushed by 2 stops.

008 BASE BW_SOFT

008

My alternative Black & White look. Much softer to the overall image but still enough contrast to keep things interesting.
